| Austin A35 Van |

The Austin A35 was an upgrade in 1956 from the A30 which had been in production since 1952. Like the A30 before it the A35 was also produced as a van (and very briefly as a pickup, only 477 were built). The van outlived the car by many years. The car was replaced by the A40 in 1959, but the van remained in production until 1968. The van payload was 5cwt and engines were initially 948cc, later replaced by the 1098cc A series unit. |
