Dinky Toys 39a; Packard Super 8

Packard Super Eight was the name given to the larger of the two eight cylinder luxury automobiles produced by the Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan

The Dinky Toy was launched in 1939 and after a pause in production when the factory was switched to war work resumed production in 1947 through to 1950, pre-war cars have a silver baseplate, post war it is painted black. Dinky France produced the car as No. 24P for one year in 1949

It has also been made by Norev for the Atlas Editions Dinky Toys range in 2012 and again in 2013 and 2018
