When Captain Scarlet came on the telly I was past my children's TV watching days and the early evenings after school were spent helping my father on the farm, specifically bottling the milk for the next day's milk round. On the whole I'd rather have watched Captain Scarlet. I did get a bit of a second look when it was repeated when my kids were small but I never saw one of these on the telly.

It is very heavy indeed and rather a featureless blob of a thing. However if you can find one of these in its box, complete with the crate it is supposed to carry and its decal sheet unused you will have a valuable item.
