Dinky Toys 476/486; 1913 Morris Oxford
William Morris' first car was called the Oxford in recognition of its home city. To keep costs down virtually all components were bought-in and assembled by Morris. It was a small car with 1018 cc four cylinder side valve engine, known as the Bull Nose.
Dinky used the casting twice, making the yellow & blue version from 1967 to 1969, and their made up Beatlles wannabe group 'Dinky Beats' car, introduced in 1965 and remaining in the range until 1969. A nice one in a box could be quite expensive. There should be three pop group figures in the car.
