Matchbox SuperKings K-86/1; Volkswagen Golf Mk1

Probably wins the prize for the biggest tow hook in the collection. I wonder if the designer thought he or she was making a 1-75 size Matchbox and specified the scale of the tow hook to match? This is a really poor model of the Mk1 Golf, nothing about it is good, it gets my vote for the worst MBX King Size of all. It is just lazy and bad modelling and damaging to the Lesney brand.

K-86/1 The VW Golf was released in 1981. It is seen in back, white or yellow 'ADAC' versions. None of which attracts a premium.
