Matchbox SuperKings K-33/2; Scammell Cargo Hauler

K-12/2 The Scammell Handyman Crane Truck was released in 1969 as a regular wheels item. It was originally yellow and was changed to orange when converted to Superfast, there is also a silver Superfast version which comes as part of a play set and is more sought after.

This truck was unusual at the time in having a glass-fibre cab designed in Italy by Michellotti, responsible for many Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Ferrari cars - best known in the UK for his very stylish Triumph cars from the Herald to the TR series of the 60 and 70s.
