Matchbox King Size K-4/3; Leyland Tipper Truck

This Leyland Ergomatic cab tipper truck is nicely done and there are lots of versions. They are mostly in Wates builders' livery, starting out with regular wheels in dark red with a silver tipper back. For the transition into Superfast Wheels the truck was changed to orange with the tipper in lime gold, with the inevitable transition models in Superfast colours still with regular wheels. Some of the regular wheels trucks have LE Transport stickers. They are all mostly of similar, moderate values.

The truck below with the blue chassis cab and a graphic sticker showing a miner is from a set. There was a track along which the truck travelled under battery power. At one end of the track it was loaded with a plastic rock, at the other end it tipped. The plastic socket in the middle of the grille engages with a cog at the end of the track and powers the tipper mechanism.
