Matchbox SuperKings K-21/4; Ford Transcontinental Truck & Trailer
This big Ford truck was re-used time and again by Matchbox both in the main range and as a promotional product. The UK core product was initially the one with 'Continental' on the sides and later it was 'Sant Fe'.
Some of the promos fetch a lot of money, for instance the 3-in-One truck is a hard to find and therefore pricey variant of the truck. It came to me in a mixed lot of unboxed models, the truck, trailer and plastic tilt covers all separated and loose. I'm glad I put them together and sold it as a unit as it made over £370 on eBay. That one is an exception, but all of them make pretty good money.
