Matchbox SuperKings; Ford Security Truck
This little truck is fun.
It is set up as a security truck for moving cash and valuables, but the
rear body is actually a money box, or coin bank as the Americans would
call it. There is a slot in the roof through which to feed your pennies
and the rear door opens with a sort of simple combination lock.
It was released in 1979 as K-19 and again in 1981 as K-88. The fist
release was originally in Group 4 livery and the second release with
Matchbox branding. There have been a number of other releases including
Fort Knox and Caisse d'Epargne. |
