Matchbox/Lesney 58c; DAF Girder Truck

This truck spanned the introduction of Superfast wheels being introduced in 1968, the regular wheels versions are always white with red plastic base/radiator grille unit and a load of 12 red plastic girders, there are no listed variations to the regular wheels version. In 1970 the wheels were switched to Superfast, requiring some structural changes to the plastic base. Some of the early, first Superfast models kept the white body and these are the ones to look for as they get a good premium. Most of the Superfast models you will find are light metallic green, again with the red base and radiator grille. The model was deleted in 1971.
