Matchbox Major Pack M-2; Bedford Articulated Ice Cream Truck

The S Type Bedford Articulated Ice Cream Truck was released in 1958 with a cream trailer and metal wheels, the wheels were changed to plastic in 1959 and some trailers started to appear in white. That is 'white' according to the price guides, it is more of an off white / pale cream in my experience. The scale is never given on Matchbox Toys but this one is smaller than the Bedford S Type car transporter, probably around 1:80 scale. It remained in production until the Bedford TK Artic took over the M-2 slot in 1961.
