Year of Release: 1975?

This is a pre-production colour trial. I suspect it was from about 1975 as it has the later type wheels and does not have the locating lugs for the roof cast into the body, as they were in the early releases, by this stage they were moulded into the sides of the rear seat, however they are not present in this example. The Ebay seller was located near Enfield which was the site of the Lesney factory, so one can assume this was brought home by a worker from the factory and given to a child. It came to me in a mixed lot of playworn toys, there was nothing else of particular interest in the lot. I sold it to a collector in Australia before I started to trade as Little Wheels.
