Models of Yesteryear Y-18/1; 1937 Cord 812 Coupe |
![]() |
Box notes: "One of the most remarkable and technically advanced cars of the 1930’s, the Cord model had retractable headlights, front wheel drive and with Supercharged engine reached 120 mph. Alas it was the last model ever produced by the Cord Company which went into liquidation shortly after the introduction of the 812, therefore making this model a collectors’ item since only a small amount were built." Made from 1979 through to 1995 the Models of Yesteryear Cord is not a rare item. The first releases were red with a white roof, shades of red varying from light red through to plum. After red came yellow and after yellow came cream. Values reflect how easy it is to find (low and very) of the colours cream may get a tiny premium. |
