Models of Yesteryear Y-1/3; 1936 Jaguar SS100 |
![]() |
During the late 1930's the SS-100 was considered by many to be one of the most desirable sports cars of the era. It was one of the first British production cars to exceed 100 m.p.h. and it found considerable success in many European Motor rallies. The 1936 SS Jaguar Y-1/3 was produced from 1977 to 1994 in 1:38 scale. You will see it in off-white, steel grey or yellow. It is a commonly seen model and does not attract much of a premium. The steel grey versions however are sought after and worth a little more as are off-white versions with small sidelights. |
