Models of Yesteryear Y-4/4; 1930 Duesenberg Model J Town Car |
![]() |
Charging a price tag of £3,750 for the chassis alone, the model J Dusenberg was one of the most powerful and expensive motor cars of the early 30s. The Car was regarded by many as the ultimate status symbol and was constructed from the finest materials available at the time. This car was made from 1976 to 1997, a very long production run and it is by no means a rare item. There are however a couple of super-rare and super-valuable versions - both white over red. A yellow hood is most valuable, a black hood slightly less so. There are a number of other colours in the £100-£200 range which are very precisely listed in Ramsay. Most of the ones you will find though are worth significantly less
