This truck, 45e, was released just before Lesney went into liquidation in 1982 but has continued in production under the new ownerships so you will find it in lots of colours and liveries released in the post-Lesney era. The casting also turns up in the Matchbox Convoy range with a range of trailer styles and liveries. Lesney 1-75 series Kenworths are white with brown and blue tampos.
This Matchbox was sourced in August 2013 from Lacy Scott & Knight auctioneers, it was sold in September 2013 via eBay for £9.99
