| Another jumble sale
sourced toy, it never did have both doors. I always really liked this
car and was so sorry that it only had the one door. One of these days
I'm going to buy a complete one just to compensate for having to put up
with a missing door for the past 45 years or so. The old 220SE is a lovely proportioned car and the slightly older model with the little tail fins would be in my all time favourites garage, it is certainly my favourite Mercedes. I almost bought myself a (full size) E280 recently, but it has none of the style of this old coupe. I eventually bought a Jaguar S Type - now that has style too.
