| From the 2004 Demonition Series #2. Actually this is a good example of the fine artwork on some of these models. What at first appears to be a smart green and gold paint job with the usual flames painted up the bodywork is actually a 'Green Man'. This is an ancient pagan symbol of a woodland god from pre-Christian Britain, you often see it as a gargoyle carved into cathedral walls - I guess this is what is meant by 'Demonition', sort of Halloween type images, but this old chap predates Halloween by thousands of years. |
