| I've always liked
this Matchbox Zephyr, a good likeness of a very handsome car. This is a repaint,
someone has taken the trouble to drill out the rivet, dismantle and
repaint it. They've generally made a nice job except for the
over-obvious brush strokes in the metallic paint. No matter it is nice.
The Zephyr 6 (33b) was introduced
in 1963 and it remained in the range until 1968. They are all sea-green
in colour, paler than the repaint pictured below. The only variations
are in wheel colour being available in grey, silver or black. It is a
popular model and will always get a reasonable price. the order of
desirability in descending order is: grey wheels > silver wheels > black
wheels. Mine has silver wheels. |
