Atlas - 23f

I think this is supposed to be some sort of futuristic dump truck, there also appear to be two six cylinder engines in the cab rear window, that would make for a noisy ride.

The Atlas Truck (23f) was released in 1975 and continued up to the Lesney bankruptcy in 1983, I suspect it continued in production after this date too as they are seen with Made in China on the bottom. I have several and all have Lesney Made in England baseplates. Two of my baseplates are unpainted, one is painted silver. Windows can be clear or amber and interiors can be plated silver, black or light grey, cabs are either purply metallic blue or red, tipper backs are orange, silver or red. There is a post-Lesney version on mb-db.co.uk with a mid-blue body and a yellow tipper.

All variations seem fairly common and none fetches a premium. The fun with this one is the endless variety of combinations.
