Triumph 1800 - 151 (40b) |
|
Triumph made these from 1946 through to 1955, no wonder the Herald was such a revolution three years later. In about 1950 this car was renamed the Renown and given a 2000cc engine. Its 'razor edge' body styling was typical of Triumph's post-war saloons. It is a fine model, produced by Dinky from 1948 through to 1960. This example is post 1949 when the rear axle was located into the baseplate rather than on pillars cast into the bodywork. More than that I do not know. Mine has lost its headlamps, but that need not be a serious problem as replacements are readily available, the only issue will be painting them the right colour. |
