Here we have a transitional Fifties American car,
it is just before the really big tail fins arrived but has moved on from
the rounded styles of the early fifties. Dinky began production of this car in 1958 and it always had windows. Early releases have painted hubs while the later ones have spun hubs, the tyres are always white with an embossed letter M. There are two colours, either cerise over cream or grey over orange, both colours are available with both wheel types. Later, spun hubs versions are rarer and more pricey. |
