Austin Mini Van AA Patrol - 274

Dinky and Corgi got a lot of use out of their Minis through the sixties and seventies. The Dinky Minis of this period always have a curious look end-on because of the very narrow track, almost as if they are on tiptoe.

This little van is a close relative of the Countryman but loses the half-timbered bodywork and gains opening rear doors. Corgi and Spot-On both made Mini Vans at this time, but Spot-On chose not to have opening doors, yet it was that one I wanted (and got). Some of these have a white roof, some do not, some red interiors and some blue. They also updated the AA logo during the run so older ones will have the traditional AA badge logo and later ones the plain italic AA.

Look out for the older AA badge logo.
