The RMA was the first post-war Riley. It used the 1.5 L engine and was equipped with hydro-mechanical brakes and an independent suspension using torsion bars in front. The chassis was made of wood in the English tradition. It was capable of reaching 75 mph (121 km/h). The RMA was produced from 1945 until 1952 when it was replaced by the RME. It was the last Riley developed independently by Riley before it was absorbed into the Nuffield organisation. Production was originally at the Riley works in Coventry but was later moved to MG at Abingdon.

The Dinky car was released as 40a in 1947 and renumbered 158 in 1954, Ramsay says Dinky deleted it in 1955, the Great Book of Dinky quotes 1958 and diecast.plus.com says 1960. My best guess is 1955

There are 12 colours listed in Ramsay, the ones to look for are 40a in blue with lighter blue hubs, blue with black hubs and green with green hubs. In 158 look for lemon yellow with green hubs.

No.158 in cream with green hubs (1954/5)
