In many ways this is a better model than the Corgi Vigilant Range
Rover - the rear tailboard certainly works better as a piece of
modelling - but those Speedwheels just ruin the look of the thing. The
quality of the modelling is definitely better on this one than many of
its Dinky contemporaries. Dinky added the Range Rover to the range in 1970. In 1972 the smart, cast, Spot-On wheels were replaced for nasty looking plastic Speedwheels. The colour can be bronze with blue, red or white seats, yellow with red seats or black with red seats. The ones to look for are black or yellow. |
