The 1960's range of Triumph cars was very well represented in the Dinky catalogue and they were all very good; the Herald, the Vitesse, the 1300 and the Spitfire. They were all finely modelled and well engineered. This one is OK too, it has the opening bonnet & boot with nice detailing on the base plate. There's perhaps a little more wear to the paint than I'd like, but I think it's good enough to keep.

The car was in the core Dinky range from 1963 to 1969 in metallic green with a white roof. There should be a couple of suitcases in the boot and the base can be silver or dark grey. The other fairly frequently seen colour is white with a blue roof which comes from a gift set (118) where it was paired with a glider in a trailer.

In addition to these there are about a dozen promotional colours which are all hard to find and consequently pretty expensive.
