This is a splendid model of the BMW M1, most remarkable for the fact that it is almost entirely covered in  decals. One would think that applying these would provide insurmountable production problems. In the Great Book of Corgi van Cleemput mentions this and remarks that they were the first time Corgi had used tampos.

This is a release from December 1982 which was a re-release from April 1981. The earlier release is No.308 and is found in yellow or vacuum plated gold.
