we have a re-release of the Chevvy Caprice as a stock car racer. It has
opening boot & doors and a very seventies look with all those stickers.
However it was only in the range for a year and sold in really small
quantities so is now a real rarity. A mint and boxed example like this
is very rare indeed. Corgi used this casting as a plain civilian model, Police, Fire & Taxi versions were all also released under their own model numbers. The Racing version was introduced in 1981 and deleted the following year. There are no listed variations, it is always white with a lot of red, blue and black tampos showing STP sponsorship and racing number 43. |
