Another of Chris Davidsons's models here. The Ford Escort. This is the
first version of the Mark 3 Escort before any of the face lifts in
Corgi's Europe version. I'm not sure what differences there are beyond
it being left hand drive. It still gas the 'GL' badge on the back - I
seem to remember them having 'CL' badges in Europe - or was that instead
of the 'DL' variant. Pictures too of a pair of rally versions. These were made after 1983 so my Great Book of Corgi does not list them, so for lack of knowledge of their year of release I include them here. |
