Corgi made good use of the Bell Jetranger helicopter right through the 70s, there were Police versions and a rescue version with a working winch, there were also a couple of versions with working missile launchers and this is one of them, the other one is painted black and is from another Bond Movie - The Spy Who Loved Me.

The Drax Helicopter was made for only two years, 1979-1980. It is always white with yellow trim and Drax paper labels. It was originally supplied with ten spare rockets. A mint and boxed example will get a very good price for a Corgi of this period, probably reflecting the fact that there are not too many around because of the short production run and the attrition through play which they suffer. A number of the Corgi Jetrangers I have found have been wrecked.
