| This is
another model from Chris Davidson's collection of excellent mint in box
later release Corgis. More excellent pictures taken in the stunning
mountain scenery of the French Alps. At the time of writing (August 2007) I have just made my 14th crossing in the channel tunnel this year and when I pulled in to the carriage one of these was behind me. The noise that V12 makes in an enclosed space like a train carriage is beyond wonderful. I was once given a lift in one on a blazing hot day in 1989 ( I was at a MENSA convention at Cambridge) and it was my first experience of air conditioning in a car, very memorable. The world has moved on - I recently bought a baby Citroen C1 for my kids to learn to drive, just about the cheapest car on the market - even it has air conditioning now. However one of these would find a home in my dream garage |
