Berliet TLM Container Truck

The container truck is updated to use the latest lorry cab, the Berliet TLM, otherwise the trailer and the containers remain the same. The 1107 Berliet Container Truck is an  up-date of 1106 Mack, not a bad model overall, spoilt somewhat by the use of the roof spotlights from the Range Rover Vigilant as headlamps. They really do look wrong and they were very vulnerable to breaking off in play.

This truck remained in the Corgi range for one year only from 1978 to 1979. The chassis and trailer are always white with the bodywork either light or mid blue or orange. The containers are grey with United States Lines paper labels.. Values are quite high as production was short and sales not particularly high.
