made good use of the Bell JetRanger helicopter right through the 70s,
there were Police versions and a rescue version with a working winch,
there were also a couple of versions with working missile launchers and
this is one of them, the other one is painted white and is from another
Bond Movie - Moonraker. The Stromberg Helicopter was made from 1978-1980. It is always black with yellow trim and Stromberg fish logo on paper labels. It was originally supplied with ten spare rockets. A mint and boxed example will get a very good price for a Corgi of this period, probably reflecting the fact that there are not too many around because of the short production run and the attrition through play which they suffer. A number of the Corgi JetRangers I have found have been wrecked. |
