Please refer to my notes on the Unimog 409 released in 1976 for my views on these changes to the original model released in 1970 as all the same comments apply.

The one difference being that while the tipper is mentioned in the Great Book of Corgi, this model is not, which looks like an omission. The original highly detailed versions of this and the tipper are shown as being deleted in 1976. The tipper is mentioned as being re-released so I guess it was not that difficult to overlook this one. I also suspect that as this was de-specified to bring down the price that it may not have retained its rear tilt.
