Datsun were very good you know. Yes I know Datsun was only ever a brand
of Nissan who are still very much with us, but this is Japan's E-Type
Jaguar and when the E-Type came out Nissan were still making Austin A40s
under licence.
To get from there to here in just over ten years is phenomenal. The Japanese deserved and continue to deserve every bit of their success in the automotive industry. Nissan are still going strong and who these days knows what an Austin was? Two more points, these are actually very good pictures so click on them, blow them up and enjoy the detail. Secondly, this is a rare model. It is the only one I've ever seen for sale so bask in its scarcity. |
