taken me years to find one of these and when I get it it is bashed to
bits, never mind it's another slot filled
Here we have the
Corgi modellers at their peak, they have taken a car which was in real
life a pug and created an elegant model. The Mini Marcos is very well
modelled indeed, however it is not improved by losing those nice
take-off Mini-Lite wheels from the original release and replacing them
with these rather dull Whizzwheels. The racing colours suit it though.
The car was
converted to Whizzwheels & renumbered in 1972 and remained in the range
for just one more year. It is usually white with red, white and blue
racing stickers and RN7. A verion without the stickers is listed as is a
mid blue version from a Gift Set. The Gift Set version is the one to
look for. |
