What sort of fevered imagination comes up with a beach buggy fire engine. This is a thorough job though. There are blue beacons, when new it had ladders, it also had an axe cast into the blues & twos unit. What did it tow? Why the tow bar?

It is a brightly coloured child's toy when you get down to it. Not what Corgi was about in the early days but this is the way things are going, downhill fast.

I have two of these and add them both for comparison. Check that both only have the 'Fire Bug' logo on the near side and no logo on the off-side. Have they both lost one decal - or was that the way it was? Also the one on the right has a tab at the top of the windscreen which the other one does not - was this something to do with a missing soft top roof and a ladder?
