This car photographs so well. It should be compared to the other cars released in 1970, especially the Capri which came out a couple of months earlier. Most of the releases in 1970 were Whizzwheels versions of previous models, inmost cases with a couple of features removed. This was brand-new, all singing, all dancing, hard core Corgi with everything we had come to expect in previous years. The modelling is fine, the detail both inside and out is superb and all those lovely features, pop-up jewelled lights, jewelled tail lights, take-off wheels, opening bonnet with a nice extra detail - the hoses and cables under the bonnet are in a separate black plastic overlay.

The interior is nice too, but I've not dared clip the targa top off, it is probably brittle by now and could easily break. This was not a cheap model to buy, but I am delighted with it. It's a true classic.
