The 65 Mustang is one of the great Corgis and you can't blame them for trying to get a few more miles out of it with this revamp. Now who can help me out here. Before I bought this I could swear I remember one of my mates at school having a Mustang stock car with hand prints on the boot like someone had pushed it with oily hands and I had always thought it was one of these. This one is covered in flower power stickers. Is my memory faulty or am I thinking about a different toy altogether? It was 40 years ago. The Flower Power / Pop-Art Mustang was released in June 1968. It was always pale blue with a pale greeny/yellow interior. It is seen either with or without the bright and colourful psychedelic labels. Examples without the labels are priced significantly below those with the labels. |
