SUNBEAM IMP MONTE CARLO RALLY TRIM 1967 |
Lets list the issues; the paintwork for starters, the suspension is broken, decals gone, one jewel gone. At the time of writing new decals, a jewel and some suspension wire is on its way here from Steve Flowers. I'm planning to do one of my no paint tidy ups, this way I fix the broken bits and leave the play-wear as it is.
Later...... Here we have the same car with a little TLC. The paint is bad and got worse during cleaning. Can't help that. Replacing the decals was easy and I'm sure you'll agree makes a difference. The missing jewel was a no-brainer for about 10p. The big difference is fixing the suspension. This car had plastic springs deriving from the interior seats unit. All were broken. I've added lateral spring wires to give it a bit of a lift.
