Mini-Cooper S RAC/Sun Rally |
I'm in two minds about this one really. Some vandal has painted the white roof red and ruined the originality of a pretty little model Mini, however had it not had its roof painted it would have probably been out of my price range. This was only in the Corgi range for a short time and not that many were made. It always goes for a high price and this one was a bargain at £6.50, which I don't think too bad never mind the roof repaint.
The model bears an uncanny resemblance to 339 the 1967 Monte Carlo Mini with the removal of the roof rack and a change of decals. The interior has been changed from the standard mini. There are two rally seats in the front and a lot of recovery gear in the back. Altogether a nice little package - where's the white paint.
