From 1962 to 1966 the ambulance had been cream over dark red, in 1966 the design was revised and it was recoloured to pale blue over white and metallic red over metallic silver. The later releases tend to get the better prices. The model was finally deleted in 1968.
My example? Its a wreck really. Dirty, playworn and all the electric gubbins missing. I've got one of the earlier red ones which is a bit better, but I really think I'll live with this one in my collection as it's not really a model that gets me going.
