The new Ford 5000 Super Major Tractor replaces the Fordson Major and is paired with the Beast Carrier trailer. The trailer body is also used on the back of a Dodge Kew Fargo chassis cab to make a light weight cattle truck. It's chassis is shared with the No.62 tipper trailer.
This makes a very handsome set - although I cannot seem to make sense of the covering net - I'm afraid to do much with it as it is getting old and brittle but it doesn't seem to want to fit properly.

This set was released in December 1966 and remained in the range until 1973 it replaces GS33 substituting the new Ford 5000 tractor for the now defunct Major. There are no listed variations. This set has been put together using models from my collection.
