Without the vacuum plating this would be another NSU Sport Prinz or a Renault Floride - that is a boring little coupe with no clever features - but the vacuum plating moves all the goalposts. It is no longer a me-too French 1000cc rear engined economy car - now it is an exotic track racer. Smart move Corgi.
