All the E types (real ones I
mean) were lovely. The early models were light, crude and fast and by the end of
production they were muscle-bound sophisticated supercars, but they were all
beautiful. Corgi did two versions, this was the early one; elegant & simple,
truly beautiful. Enough said.
The later one is gorgeous too.
This vacuum plated silver E
Type takes over in the range in 1964 from No.307 from 1962 with used the same
casting and came with a plastic detachable hardtop in dark red or black. The
plated car has a driver and a racing stripe, but no roof. There are no listed
variations and values are good for this popular model. It was deleted in 1968. |
