By 1963 this old barge must have been looking a little long in the tooth, a typical turn of the Sixties family station wagon, but finely modelled - I particularly like the fine line on the front door glazing to represent quarter lights. However there is no getting away from the fact that it is bite number two of three at this cherry - mind you they were still finding new roles for the '59 Chevy up to the Seventies...
The first one came out in '59 without suspension, but with seats. There was also the US Mail version which also had suspension and came out a couple of months after this one..
Mine here is a nice example in the less common red over pale blue with a yellow interior, they are usually tan over beige with red seats.
