Designed to complement the Commer Dropside Lorry and later the ERF this smart trailer really added play value to your Corgi collection. Of course it went just as well behind your Dinkys too. The body is the same casting as was used on the Commer 5 Ton dropside and the ERF dropside.

The early ones had a wire drawbar, first release was 1957, the cast drawbar came out in 1962 (December), production ceased in 1965. The core range trailers were always cream with red mudguards and drawbar. There is reference to a blue and white version in one of the books, but I've not been able to find this one. Good sales and a long production run mean that this is an easily found item and that values are not high.
