OK so there is no lamp standard and no electrician figure
either, but have you seen how much they cost? I could get replacements I
suppose...
This is the early tower wagon without suspension or a
detailed interior. I cannot find evidence of it being sold as a single item
until it was re-released in 1965 with suspension and seats added. I take these
pictures at my offices when no-one else is there, weekends usually. I used a
different room for this session with much more natural light and the results
were very good, these are much better photos. The model isn't bad either,
considering it is 45 years old. There's always some bending on the pantograph
mechanism on these, but this one is OK ish. |

Writing again in late
2008 things have changed a little. Pictures are now taken in my mini
studio in the garage, this model is a recent purchase bought for the
sole purpose of donating the cherry picker to a code 3 project. It is
better than the old one so the new boy gets the place in the collection
and the old one is getting chopped for the project.
The Jeep FC Tower
Wagon set GS14 was in the range from 1961 to 1964. The cherry picker on
the back though was to have a couple of come-backs on later models. |
