It became truly golden with the 211S model. Seats were added and suspension and then to finish it off properly the whole casting is vacuum plated in gold.
My model is still an early one with oil holes over the axles, flat hubs and the half-moon hole in front of the rear bumper for the Dinky caravan hitch. It has lost a lot of plating on the roof - but is otherwise good enough to keep.
