After the Corporal missile system had been in the range for two years the launching ramp is released as a stand alone item, only to remain in the range for a year. This is a clever piece of engineering as is the Erector Vehicle with some precise machining that you would expect to see in an engineering works rather than a toy factory. It is very impressive. There are no listed variations

The unit is designed to be towed behind the International 6x6, which perhaps why it is referred to as a 'Tow Truck'. When the launching ramp is deployed the draw bar and the wheels are removed and four landing legs are screwed out to give it a secure base. The top is rotated to clear the landing legs and the four fold-out spikes used to support the missile which is lowered into place in a vertical position by the Erector Vehicle.

Brilliant work.
